Whether you're looking for a romantic walk or just a nice walk, the Berkeley Rose Garden is just twenty minutes north and uphill from campus. It's prettiest during the rose season, and barren (but still picturesque) otherwise.

The garden boasts 3000 rose bushes and 250 varieties.
