Well-lit and casual, Caffe Strada offers the best deal for cake in town: great quality slices, and mostly under $2. Expansive, comfortable patio seating. A nice place to get work done only if you can ignore the noise; a better place to chill. You can spot Cal mathematicians (such as Stallings) and physicists (such as Buford) here.
