Phil'z Coffee is a group of Coffee Shops in San Francisco, serving handmade coffee and tea. The original location is on 24th Street and Folsom Street in the Mission District, and there are two other locations, on 4th Street and Berry Street in the SOMA neighborhood by SBC Park, and on 18th Street and Noe Street in the Castro. They serve mostly specialty blends of beans only brewed at Phil'z locations, all of which were designed by Phil Jaber.

Coffee

Phil'z serves a number of blends with names like "Jacob's Wunderbar", "Anesthesia to the Upside", "The Philharmonic", and "Philtered Soul", to name only a few. Upon ordering a cup of coffee, a Phil'z barista will grind the beans and pour hot water through the grounds, and then add cream, sugar, and a mint sprig, depending on what the customer wants.

Tea

Tea is produced in much the same way. Phil'z serves Green Tea, Black Tea, Chai Tea, Mint Tea, Istanbul Treat (both green and black teas, cardamom, anise, and sage), and any of these teas iced. Baristas will often ask if the customer wants honey, cream, or sugar.
