Announcements

• There have been some problems with the site today. Last night at midnight, our host upgraded to php 5.2, which seems to be buggy. In any case, everything seems to be fixed now. --Zach (talk) 21:35, 8 February 2007 (PST)
• I've also installed the spam blacklist extension which should help eliminate some of the spam we've been seeing recently. If you run into trouble with this feature, let me know. We can whitelist any urls that should be allowed.
• I upgraded to media wiki 1.8. This should add a bunch of new features (check for new special pages and new features in your preferences page). Also, it seems to speed up page loads. Please let me know if you run across any bugs. --Zach (talk) 23:35, 4 January 2007 (PST)

• I updated the URL rewriting rules today. Now, you should be able to type "wiki.sfwiki.org/Some_Page" into the address bar to go directly to "Some Page" (it actually did this before), *and* that same URL will display in the address bar.
