Note about a source

Note that many of the requested coffee shops come from http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~adib/coffee.html. However, this list (and its reviews) seems to have gone down. Hence, I've brought the information from google's cache while it is still available. If the site comes back, we should link it from one of the guides (at least until we can write our own pages on all of these places). The reviews are informative.

Categorization Discussion

The Berkeley categories are somewhat artificial, as several of the locales could fit under more than one category. (The Bateau Ivre, for example, is a coffeeshop, nice restaurant, and dessert place.) Maybe they can also be categorized under "north campus", ..., "west campus"? That's how some locals describe locations anyway.

• This level of categorization is probably not necessary for the requests page. It will work nicely for other parts of the wiki. For example, we can have a category called North Campus, then just add the [[Category::North Campus]] tag to all of those businesses and it will automatically create the listing....and pages can be in more than one category... you get the drift.

The Uncategorized stuff includes things from SF-proper and things from Berkeley that have yet to be categorized.

• If you feel like making new sections for this stuff, go ahead. I'll get around to it eventually, but right now I intend to work on some other stuff.

Head Shops != Clothing Shops

Why are head shops and clothing shops in the same section? Not that it really matters much on the requests page, but... Strange. .
