Regarding the navigation lists at the left of the page: they seem to be defined in percentage of font-size or em's or something. When a larger font for easier reading is specified by the user agent (browser) the boxes containing the nav lists intrude into the main content area. I would suggest defining their width as fixed and allowing enlarged lines of text to wrap.
